General Terms and Conditions 

Liability
Participation is entirely at your own risk; no liability is accepted. Children under the age of 16 may only participate when accompanied by an adult.
 

OOrder Confirmation
After ordering a tour, the client will receive a written order confirmation. From this point on, the reservation is considered binding. These General Terms and Conditions are considered accepted.

Changes to the order
Changes to the fixed tour details as stated in the order confirmation—such as the date, meeting point, time, tour duration, number of people, number of guides, etc.—must be notified in good time. If more than one guide or audio guide system has been ordered and no timely notification is given in the event of a change in the number of persons (see cancellation conditions), the services will be invoiced as per the order confirmation.

 

Group size
For walks within the city of Vienna, we recommend using a guide system or booking two guides for groups of 35 people or more.

Payment
Cash payment is made upon receipt of a payment confirmation immediately after the tour. Other payment options, such as bank transfer, must be agreed upon at the time of booking. A deposit, which will be deducted from the final invoice, may be requested by the guide by prior agreement.  If a written reminder is necessary, a fee of €25 will be charged.

Cancellation policy
10–4 days before the date: 50% of the tour fee
From 3 days before the date or in case of no-show: 100% of the tour fee

If a tour cannot take place due to force majeure (e.g., strike, accident, natural disaster, or international crisis), no cancellation fee will be charged.

Delays
The guide will wait at the agreed meeting point for up to 30 minutes after the agreed time. If you anticipate being late, please notify the guide by calling their cell phone number (see order confirmation). In the event of a delay, you are not automatically entitled to a full tour; the waiting time will be included in the tour duration. Any extension depends on the guide's availability and will be charged according to the valid rates.
If the guide is late (which can happen under particularly unfavorable circumstances), the customer undertakes to wait for up to 30 minutes. This waiting time will not be charged. There are no further claims for compensation.

Delay of the guide
In the event of an unavoidable delay of the guide (e.g., sudden illness), the guide will endeavor to provide an equivalent replacement. If this is impossible, the tour will not be charged.
If a substitute takes over the tour, the terms and conditions remain valid.

Additional services & general information:

• Bus transportation for tours and excursions is not included in the tour guide fee; the client is responsible for arranging this themselves.

• Entrance fees and audio guide systems are not included in the guide fee.

• The audio guide system consists of a transmitter with a microphone for the guide and a receiver with headphones for each guest – all guests experience the tour in the same quality. If the receiver is damaged or lost or not returned after the tour, the customer will be charged the corresponding costs (price €90 per receiver).

• The guide will be happy to assist with booking various additional services and creating a program for a service fee 

• The guide reserves the right to make short-term changes to the program (e.g., due to severe weather, road closures, etc.).

Recording devices are not permitted.
